2. Metrognome Collective- Sonic Death Monkee/Notes from Underground/Malise (Fort Worth): We talk about this place all the time because it rules. You should really make the drive some time.

That doublewide show turned out to be a real good time. Mazinga put on a solid show that left me wanting more... looking forward to the next time they play. I was thoroughly impressed by Ghostland Observatory as well... great energy, charismatic singer and some fantastic electronic beats and sounds... they top LCD Soundsystem and any other band doing anything similar in my book. I'll definitely catch them again.
cool, we didn't have time to research that band. Sounds interesting.
Undertow Orchestra was stellar. Such an amazing lineup & good pals. Sorry to miss the Mazinga/Ghostland show, but when Eitzel's around, he takes precedence.
