It List Friday 3/3/06

Blah. Not a lot going on tonight. This would be the place to post big house party info if you've got it.

Mi and l'au are playing at the Cavern tonight for $6. And while we like their quiet folksy stuff on record, we weren't all that captivated by their live performance in Denton opening for Akron Family. Maybe its because they told us to be quiet like the people in New York were. In response, someone yelled out "welcome to Texas." I liked that. But a pretty interesting band that might be worth seeing if you aren't looking to rock out tonight. Other than that, make your own damn fun tonight.

EDIT: And how could I forget that Strange Boys are playing a show with Cry Blood Apache at Avenue Arts tonight. its 5 bucks. And since the place doesn't have a real sound system, lets hope they bring enough shit to play loud.

I think it's $8 for the Avenue Arts show actually, but you can BYOB, which more than makes up for that cost (& free parking!).
Oh & it's Grits 'N Gravy tonight on 102.5, so tune in if you're around the Greenville, Fair Park, Lakewood area tonight from 8pm-?. Cheers!

I just rode bikes by good records a little while ago and saw them in there and I was all, "Oh hey look, if it isn't those hippy foreigners I saw in Denton that time. Hmm... I think I'm gonna PASS ON THAT CRAP."

Baylor dental school just went on Spring break. We are all going to a Dentists Gone Wild party tonight. And then probably hitting some other places that we can get into Trouble. With a capital T.

Avenue arts should be a good time tonight.

...it's usually plenty loud in that place when a band plays.... perhaps not the best sound quality, but plenty loud.

i'll be there w/ beer, smokes and tissue paper (damn sinus problems won't stop me from getting to a show)

c'mon out, the croud is quite fun.. you don't have to feel like an ass if you dance like one b/c chances are someone else is just bad enough to take the attention off of you (like, for instance, me if i am enough under the influence of either intoxicants or some fuggin rad tunes)
