It List: Thursday 3/15/07

Sorry dudes, don't have time for links or anything today... we're having some issues around here to say the least. We're going to try to post what we can as far as shows and things like that today and tomorrow, and we should have some kind of weekender for you late tomorrow afternoon or early evening, so check back for that. This is really the best we can do right now:

Green Milk from Planet Orange/Akimbo/The Capitol Years (Rubber Gloves)

Chris Garver/Praise the Twilight Sparrow (SHQ Denton)

Lost Generation with Wanz and some of the Laptop Deathmatchers (Fallout Lounge): Will feature some live laptop performances.

Scissor Sisters/Dj Sammy Jo (Palladium Ballroom)

The Trashies/Druids on Parade/Girls Rise with Heat (1919 Hemphill)

If anyone has anything else noteworthy, please mention it in the comments section

if by biggest assignment ever you mean listing a weekend of tossoffs from a festival that is 200 miles away, then you're spot on.

I hope you JR guys are okay. Pretty odd weekend to not see anything posted from you guys. Last night at House of Tinnitus was pretty fucking awesome. White Mice were truly loud as fuck truly rock the shit down to the ground. They where bloody mice outfits including mice helmet/masks. Child Abuse was and a half. Serious Jazz musicians playing prog hardcore. The bass player has actually sat in with the Ruins. I ended up talking to those guys until super late. Long late drive back to Dallas. Totally worth the drive. I wish we had more shows like this in Dallas.

SEE WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DON'T POST ANYTHING? THE RETURN OF SAM, THE MOST ANNOYING WRITER LOCAL MUSIC HAS EVER KNOWN. ANNOYING BECAUSE HE'S STUPID AND LACKS KNOWLEDGE. I SHOULD THROW IN THAT HE IS GAY AND RETARDED. CAPS LOCK MEANS I'M SERIOUS.

for those who have not figured it out Child Abuse is a band. Bad band name. Awesome band. Kind of reminds of the more proggy moments of No Means No. Good Stuff.
