I've been to packed day shows on wednesday every time I've been to SXSW (6 times). You guys are just weekend warrior idiots. Shit is already getting hot before that week even starts. And I've lived in Austin. What you know about that?

947, you beat me to the punch. It's pretty hilarious that a self professed "local dependable" blog has a showcase at sxsw with NO local bands. ha!

Props for doing a Wednesday, there aren't as many choices then.

Yeah. You nerds should put together those kinds of shows around here more often (monthly?). I'm looking forward to your Melodica stage, you flamingly flamboyant Liberace clones, you.

played at the parlor once with some buddies and they beered and fed us with lone star and pizza and the pizza was indeed very yum. They also told us we would never play there again because we cleared the place out and hurt their ears.

Ooh, 4:58. You rich. Well, I don't sling coffee either. I make money off of the gray and (sometimes black) market and the broken dreams of poor children in places like Mogok. Holy shit, I wish I was kidding. I'm glad you make money that's great. Let me tell you what I know about people that make real money: They don't have to talk about it. Maybe you should take some time off of your super important job and see a good day show on a fucking wednesday when some interesting shit goes down. You'll probably be there for the really boring shit on the weekend and that's okay. There's boring shit every weekend in Austin for dudes like you. Thanks and fuck off.
