It List: 12/14/06

1. Zoo: A Visual Menagerie (The Cavern)

Glad to see this is still happening. It's been really eclectic and surprising anytime I've caught it.


2. Sean Kirkpatrick (Club Dada)

Kirkpatrick continues his Thursday night residency at Dada with a set that begins at 8 o'clock. This is probably the best way to appreciate his abilities since he won't be competing with a tortured rock band.

3. Lost Generation (Fallout Lounge)

Wanz finds a new place and a new night to play records and all the unreleased MP3's he smuggled into DFW Airport. He promises to play some Guitar Wolf tonight, by request. I once saw them terrorize a crowd at Irving Plaza by basically refusing to play anything that was recognizable as their sound and mostly grunted and made noise as they let audience members play guitar for them. I was really pleased because I thought I was going to a mildly entertaining garage rock show.
