Have to be brief today.
Theater Fire/Dogme 95/Ashburne Glen (Double Wide)
The highly regarded Theater Fire play a rare Thursday night Double Wide show. Also playing is the bizarre one-man band Dogme 95. I saw him do a drastic reworking of Nirvana's "Breed" during SXSW last year and that was a highlight. High on novelty but fairly interesting with the occasional good song.
This Ain't No Picnic/Von Ehrics/Denton County Revelators/The Bar Backs (Rubber Gloves)
Not completely sure about most of this lineup but I remember Denton County Revelators being decent. If anyone wants to give a breakdown of this lineup, feel free.

"Just like the flyer says. A bunch of live Minutemen footage. A lot of folks have seen this stuff already, but it kicks ass and good to drink too. Stephen R is my guest DJ this week. There will be a shot special and I have new tracks from Josh T. Pierson, Doormouse, Coil vs. Venetian Snares, Vietnam, The Eternals and more James Brown(I am still in Mourning). Come out have beer and a gaggle. I still take requests."

You can't tell by the the little blub, but I am showing the Minutemen movie at 10pm at Fallout Lounge. I am trying to kick off the night with a music movie of some sort for the early comers. Cheers!!!!
