I've never really understood suburban white people's fixation with s&m, pale faces, and trying to act like a bunch of scary vampires.
Especially when it's grown men.
There's some real scary shit out there. We're bombing children, tapping phone lines, sending meth and crack into poor communities... and y'all tryin to play dress up?

J. Costa really captured the feelings of what the Great Tyrant's music evokes inside me. I think this is one of the most disturbing music videos I've seen in a long time. It reminds a lot of Keenan Maynards stuff.
That being said, this video was pretty good. Was it shot on film?
Yes 8mm...to give it a more grainy look...similar to if you found a batch of film in the gutter and projected it.
And yes I am a vampire (or vampyre). I drink blood, killed my mother and father, burned them and wear their ashes as eyeliner which tragically streams down my face.
Goth enough for ya?

Good one. You told them.
The music has nothing to do with S&M, pale faces or vampires. Nor does the video, I think. None of the members of The Great Tyrant are in the video, playing dress-up, having underwater tea parties or any other awesome games that we like to play in our off time from judging beauty pageants and touring in our hot air balloon.
We all really like the video that Nouvelle Mode Films has made for our song. It makes me feel very uncomfortable, which is fitting for the music. I really like the hair cutting and the 3 hooded men clapping. The dancing girl is great, as well.
The song comes from an unreleased 7", due out over a year ago.
