One time Mika Miko bought me beer when I was seventeen and lived in New Mexico.
As a side note, can we all make it our personal missions to get Jonanna Wilder fired? We all post on here enough about her shitty writing everytime something new comes out. Can we not concentrate our efforts towards her boss and attempt to usher in some sort of new regime? Just a thought.
Film School/Eulogies/Red Monroe on wed at cavern.

Kinda funny because people did the same thing to Sam it seems. Then when the regime change happened, the grass really was brown and dried and shrivled up. so lets just hope we get some f'in miracle grow if we are actually able to pull that regime change off.
Sleeping States plays at the modern on Friday as well. Freak booking?
THIS SHOW THAT WAS POSTED FOR LAST FRI. IS REALLY THIS FRI:
Great Tyrant /Life Death Continuum /Trifle Tower
/Aphonic Curtainz (Red Blood Club): This is an impressive lineup featuring some of the top talent in local music, regardless of categorization. Great Tyrant and Life Death Continuum both exhibit the rhythmic complexity and grandiose bombast of every great moment in prog from Magma to King Crimson, but with more anger than 70's cheese. Life Death Continuum has a more direct style of attack than the ominous gloom of Great Tyrant's music. Trifle Tower is frantically tumbling and screaming hardcore. Aphonic Curtains is the new project of Aaron Gonzalez, Rob Buttrum of House Of Tinnitus, and Mike M. of SDS. I caught their first brief impromptu performance at Tinnitus, and was impressed by the trio's ability to manipulate the intensity by their keen sense of dynamics. Buttrum has classic drum chops, which is apparent even as he beats away on scrap metal. Mike M. adds electronic buzz and static over everything and it comes as no surprise that Aaron Gonzalez is a great bass player, even if he uses a butterknife in lieu of a plectrum.
To quote Ghostbusters, "Print is dead."
Jonanna and the firing of Sam are the last grunts of a dying medium.
Let us now enjoy the birth of a people's forum... the blog.
