Sometimes I'm not even aware it's them due to the crowd blocking my view and when everything clears out, I'm pleasantly surprised to see lil' Alan Palomo breaking down shop. Faux Fox should feel pretty cool about being the only band playing, and Hawatha might be the best Dallas rapper I've ever heard. And that means something, because I really loved that J-Ro track about Plano.

equipment insurance is totally worth it. i pay around $600 a year to cover about $15,000 worth of stuff. a little steep but, again, totally worth it.

definitely, it takes a long time to even just accumulate the types of sounds you want to use on your machine, much less actual work you've done with said sounds. i'll definitely be at sloppyworld tonight.

octopus project are very cool. great live...the records are a little rough but it translates very well in the live setting.
At least Prince William has the support of his friends and fans, and a motivation provided by this to work hard to get back where he was. It sucks, and I wouldn't wish it upon anyone, but his career isn't over.
I agree w/ loop 12 .. OctoP is a whole gnu level live. I didn't even like their last record (before the new one), but their live power is organic and undeniable.

Man, if Will being robbed generates a show like the one last night, he might have to go homeless soon. Last night was amazing!!! I especially loved the freestyle rap from Hawatha w/ Faux Fox. For anyone that got there later than 11pm, you missed an AMAZING set by Schwa!!! There was something in the air too, the generosity and love for Will, and for everyone, in the room was palpable. And those videos were bonkers, kinda lost my mind in the screens a few times... who did the videos?
