Alan Palomo Out of Ghosthustler
Alan sent us an email a couple of days ago about this, and then last night he told us we could share with everyone after he posted a Myspace Bulletin:For reasons both creative and life changing, I have decided to leave Ghosthustler and move on. Amidst these circumstances my bandmates have deemed it necessary to carry on without me; I wish them the best of luck. Expect great things to continue being released from the Ghosthustler name and from my new project in the near future.
A disappointment for people who were expecting big things out of the group. We'll have more on this early next week.

I still don't understand what power struggle you are referring to, what a "record signing" is, and why you think smugness is a new thing in ANY walk of life?
I personally think smugness is awesome. I don't understand why people complain about egos in musicians/artists or anyone. Egos are awesome. They should be more common. Think about how much you avoid those bible pushing mormons, and then think about paying money at the door as well as a couple hundred, even a thousand other people, to watch someone sing songs. If they didn't have an ego I would be disappointed. Its like how smashing guitars is awesome.
I can't wait to hear Alan's next project. Will it be just like Ghosthustler..?? Cause if so..

Man even if personality and ego were synonymous I would never say to have ever gone to a show because I was all hyped to see them express their personality. And even if it was true, I would never admit to it for fear of looking like a jerk. And even if ego and personality were synonymous, then bible pushing mormons would not be egoless, they would have a different "ego"/"personality" than musicians.

Maybe you should have also checked out the definition of personality, because what you just described sounds like self-awareness, self-conceit or consciousness of one's being. Personality is (according to dictionary.com) is "1. the visible aspect of one's character as it impresses others. 2. a person as an embodiment of a collection of qualities." Also, read more books.

By the way, when you were looking at those definitions did you happen to see #4? "the quality of being a person; existence as a self-conscious human being; personal identity." sounds an awful like those words you used... self-awareness, self-conceit, consciousness... in the words of fred durst "just think about it."
