Liars Show Cancelled
According to Jennet at Daughter Entertainment, the Liars shows that was scheduled for later this year at Hailey's has been cancelled for unknown reasons. Their website has also removed the date from their list of live shows. Guess its just doom and gloom around here these days. MAN were we looking forward to this show.
We'll let you know if they add a different DFWd date at a later time.
UPDATE: Jennet says that the show was never confirmed, as opposed to being confirmed and then cancelled. I guess that makes a difference in the biz, but either way it means that we don't get to see the show. Suck.

Now this blows. I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that on their Drowned tour only about 30 people were at Hailey's. Maybe it does, maybe it doesn't. But I just think it's weird how the Double Wide closed, bands are cancelling, and then I just saw a bulletin that the Cavern is looking for bands to play this Thursday and Friday. I'm not saying anything is connected. I'm just saying it's weird.
I think it'd be pretty safe to assume that there'd be more people at this show..
Goddamn, that really sucks. I was genuinely looking forward to that show.

I saw them with Get Hustle at Hailey's over a year ago. They awere playing songs I did not recognize. It turns it was songs of the new record.............which is awesome. I may drive to Austin for this one if I have to, I got a minivan if anyone wants to carpool.

Yeah, there isn't even a show listed on May 27th at the Gypsy on Front Gate Tickets. But hey, if it's true, that is dang cool.
