Heres a new track from the Theater Fire's new album Everybody Has a Dark Side, to be released in early May. Reminds me of Angels of Light a bit. And its pretty damn good by the way.

I'm big fan a of the Theater Fire, and I think this song is great. Also a big fan of the Angels of Light, but don't understand your comparisson. How do you think they sound alike?

anyone know why i keep hearing what pricks these guys are?
haven't even heard the music but every time i say something about wanting to check them out someone mentions what dick-heads they are (or at least someone is)

I heard that the drummer's a real pain in the ass. But the rest of those guys are absolute sweethearts.
Yeah, the drummer is kind of a primadonna, but the other guys are great. Especially the one who plays the baking cups. That guy is my idol.

that's cool... i'm not trying to spread rumors... actually trying to clear one up.
someone was telling me that their band hated playing w/ them and probably wouldn't do more shows... just seeing if that was an overreaction to one nights events and drunkenness (probably), or if these guys are actually THAT hard to work with.
and since when can a drummer be a prick?

(i kid, i like flashy drummers... but it is somewhat strange that the pompous one plays the damn drums... usually they want to be the center of attraction... maybe this is what causes the problem.. he wants to be the center of attention b/c he's maybe a really good musician... but he plays the drums so everyone just laughs at him and his "opinions")
"flashy" is bad word choice
visually appealing or attention grabbing..... those may work better
...so try those
