I'm feeling sassy today, so here is my half ass It List. And by the way, anyone who missed HEALTH missed an absolutely mind blowing show. 4real.
Stereo on Strike's Lost Generation (Fallout): No guests this week.
White Rabbits/Red Monroe/Record Hop/Burning Hotels (The Cavern): White Rabbit. Boo. Don't even really feel like telling you why. In fact, Red Monroe and Record Hop are really the only attractions at this show, but both are worth your time live.
80's Night with DJG (Hailey's): We love DJ G and everything, but 80's Night at Hailey's has pretty much become a frat boy meat market downer. Or maybe I'm just too grumpy for this kind of shit.

burning hotels? for serious? if you're going to be a strokes cover band, you should at least tell people before they figure it out three minutes into your set. red monroe was okay but were not as amazing as they clearly thought they were, and they were acting like total douches through record hop's totally badass performance. oh, and white rabbits owned, you can all suck it.

the problem with that is.....those kids TRY to act like they don't like anything that isn't uber (is that a word) want-to-be indie...it is so funny reading the posts that are SO against bands in their own area...sad and funny at the same time. what is the word used "douches"....douche...ha. makes you laugh. b/c they are the ones that are at fault for a falling scene.
