FRIDAY

True Widow/On After Dark/Kijoto/Oh Lewis (Rubber Gloves)

The Separation/Division of Power/Chest Pain/Lockstep/Collick (1919 Hemphill): Austin's excellent Chest Pain makes this show for me, but I'm a little biased. Whatever.

Astroblaque's Soular Power:Debut Live set from The Black Dots (Fallout Lounge): The Black Dots are Wanz Dover's latest group, and I honestly haven't had a chance to listen to them yet, so for now I'll just have to go by the very positive word of mouth I've heard regarding the group and advise you to check them out.

This Old House/The River Mouth/Land Mammals/Final Club (Hailey's)

DJ Sista Whitenoise (Tradewinds)

SATURDAY

Vulgar Fashion/Orange Coax/Corporate Park/After Hours with George Quartz/DJ G (Rubber Gloves): Completely solid lineup from DJ to opening band, and you can't say that very often, that's for sure. One of two shows in one night for George Quartz? Pimpin' ain't EZ.

Hentai Improvising Orchestra/Yells at Eels/Aunt's Analog/Vexed UK (J&J's): Pretty good lineup including one of the best noise acts in the state (Aunt's Analog), and one of the best free jazz groups in the state (Yells At Eels).

Ishi/Missile/Dirty Little Mouth/Saboteur/Leg Sweeper/George Quartz (Trees): Did you guys know Ishi invented "folktronica?" Neither did I. You can still learn so much on Myspace.

The Orbans/the Lonely H/The Room Sounds (Double Wide)

SUNDAY

We Were Promised Jetpacks/Bad Veins (Hailey's)

The Soundtrack of our Lives/Nico Vega/Seryn (Granada)

Nick Oliveri/The Aquaholics/Pure Luck (Double Wide)
