Glasstire: "John Adelman's complex and ethereal drawings spawn from a method using rules of an equation created by the artist. Layers of tiny obsessive lines are drawn with ink and incorporate text and handwritten dictionary definitions. Adelman's new work explores negative space using shaped paper and heightened colors."
