Now What?

What the hell happened last night?

Last night was rough. Beyond rough. But somewhere in my optimistic little mind, I think we can still take the title.

And Stackhouse's flagrant on Shaq was kinda sweet.

Miami is a team with talented players, a couple of near great players, but a bunch of fragile egos. Beat them and out hustle them and you have a collection of hotheads pointing fingers and blaming each other. Give them confidence and you have a team of all stars and former all stars believing they can play together and win. The Mavs have given them a whole lot of confidence. That happens when you lose you aggressiveness.

we need to QUIT with the jumpshots!
and we shot more threes last night than we did the entire san antonio series.... 22?? cut that shit out. we just need to get in the lane and forget about whether or not they have some huge dude in there... i mean, last game dwyane wade had 5 fouls for almost 11 minutes and no one was challenging him (offence or defense).

if they get a win next game (heat) we're in some serious trouble. it's not impossible, but it's effing trouble

How can you idiots be talking about basketball at a time like this? Have you not heard?

The Falkon
is getting back together!

Even though I love Keith Van Horn for his retarded non-skills when it comes to basketball (so much for annonymity), I do have agree with something someone wrote on the Dallas Morning News Mavs blog. It was something along the lines of knowing that the Mavs have given up when they send in Keith "White Flag" Van Horn.

It's soooooooooooooo not impossible that we will take the series. Just a little more tense and it makes for better watching. And remember that the last time Dirk choked that hard, he came back with 50 points the next game.

Also, I think Jason Williams looks like someone who should be making meth in a single wide at the foothills of the Appalachin Mountains. That's all.

he's the first "wigger" in the history of the NBA. Is that an offensive term?

YOU MIGHT AS WELL BE WATCHING WWF WRESTLING-

the NBA is only fixed when your team is losing.

the finals became too big for the Mavs last night. i'm sure the next two days and Avery Johnson will wake them up a bit. i would let shaq score though and attack him offensively so that you can draw the fouls. triple teaming shaq is only creating driving lanes for wade. lanes that he takes repeatedly. you have to make him work harder. test his 'injuries'. and for the love of god, keep walker from looking like mchale down on the block.

Wade is playing way over his head and Dirk is playing like total shat. It'll balance out and Dallas wins the next two. Count on it!

yeah for the life of me i can't understand why they don't just let shaq get some points/send him to the free throw line/let up on him and let his creaky old ass naturally suck as it is prone to doing. get on wade. and why has dirk become so dainty? he won't drive to the basket, he won't bait anyone into fouling him and he hesitates even on those turnaround fadeaways that he ALWAYS sinks.

i agree that we take the next two if for no other reason than to make up for the fact that dirk threw a pass to jason terry (who was running the other way) in the first quarter last night and hit him on the back of the head with the basketball. even autistic kids don't do that in games. much less the nba finals.

dirk hitting terry in the head on
that pass was hysterical. it just
summed up the game nicely.

i just heard about stackhouse getting suspended. how the hell
can you suspend a key player in
the fucking finals with the series
tied 2-2 for nothing more than a
hard foul. it was obviously intentional, but come on, it's
stackhouse colliding with the
jolly black fucking giant. he's
lucky he didn't hurt himself.
