do you like music? if you listen to the paperchase or any of the godAwful local songwriters they've inspired, probably not. i've rarely met a smart paperchase fan. they're usually the worst kind of clueless kind of sorry for themselves misogynist dorks who still think trent reznor is cool. Oh, my girlfriend broke up with me...let me write a song about what a whore she is and how I hope she's tortured with some mediæval apparatus. Grow up, stop playing World of Warcraft, and get a fucking life.

the "music"-
worst vocalist ever. ever. and they wonder why they've been called "emo" about a thousand times in the press. the more poppy they've gotten, the worse they've gotten. at least they used to sort of rock. now they take their own theatrics seriously, the death knell for many a band.

I've never been fully impressed with their albums, but live they put everything out there. I don't see what Shellac has to do with Sons of Hermann hall, being anyone can rent that shit out.

i think violent squid is suppose to play the swiss house in dallas with some bands on saturday but no word as of yet with whom. also playing a benefit show in denton on friday with mom and some side project of angry business men.
