It List: Tuesday
Natasha Bedingfield/Kate Voegele/The Veronicas (House of Blues): I remember it was a huge deal when Amy Grant went completely down the dark path of secular pop in the early 90's and started singing "Baby Baby" instead of "Sing Your Praise To The Lord" or "El Shaddai." I guess it takes a little more for today's Contemporary Christian singers to garner such attention, as in the case of Natasha Bedingfield. She's putting a little more distance between her and recent holy past for her pop departure. So take some time to check out, "I Wanna Have Your Babies," one of the most sophisticated, subtle pieces of pop music I've come across in some time. That's a little still from the video next to this post, and I recommend checking out these amazing lyrics as well, to behold the ultimate triumph of abstinence only education.
The Temptation Of Saint Anthony (1919 Hemphill)
Disqo Disco (Fallout Lounge): DJ Panda Toes will be guesting tonight.
