Not to get all emotional on you, but Tony Wilson had such a huge impact on how I listen to music (and which music I listen to) that I had to post something about his death. He will be missed.
yeah, it's a shame... the way he worked the business side of music was not very smart, but is something that everyone in this industry should learn something from, put the music first, not money!
Couldnt even sell Factory Records when offered a couple million because he didnt even have contracts with the artists, yet he spent his life savings to make that 1st Joy Division record.
