I met those NO AGE guys when they played with their old band WIVES. They were set to play at Mables, but the cops shut it down halfway into their set. So they moved the show to the Jackson 8 rehersal room at Rubbergloves. Good times. Yay 2004!

really excited for that evan hecox solo show at public trust. a whole room full of his stuff i can't afford just might give me an aneurysm. then its off to denton!
p.s. if someone has 'found' a tap from the weshotjr party.. please return it.. we spent a bit of money to make sure everyone had a good time.. it'd be nice to get that back.. please just email us or leave it at fra house..

ummm.... i have nothing to do with wemadoutonce other than they are promoting MY show that I booked.
I put that ad for our party up and made no jabs at your site that i know of.
Perhaps you are slightly sensitive about something. I'm sure you will go ahead and delete this but just know i was putting word out about a good show with bands i know you like (koji) and you shit on it for no reason. "no cops" means hopefully we won't have to scramble like you guys did. from what i could tell your show was quite the success. i only hope mine can be one too and i chose that specific venue for that specific reason. unless you are wishing failue on me then that's cool i see where you stand on supporting independent music.
i'm sorry the cops came to your party. i'm trying to learn from others mistakes and move forward just like i would assume you would.

well perhaps I took your comment the wrong way, but it seemed like a jab to me. Maybe because it was a crappy monday morning... I don't know. But I'm sure you can understand why I would react that way if i thought someone was dissing us and then putting up an ad for a show in the same post. Of course we always try to support quality local shows, and our personal politics have nothing to do with it. I would have posted that show on our weekend list no matter what happened.
However, if you did not mean it as as a jab, then sorry for my reaction. I pretty much NEVER erase comments other that spam or highly libelous statements about individuals, but I guess I was just in a mood this morning.
Feel free to repost it if you'd like, and no hard feelings.
