Dallas sux for me because my closest friends have all moved away. I would rather be around my friends. Simple as that. I am not an ego crazy attention whore like certain promoters who post anonymously on this blog would like people to think. Very few bands have any kind of real draw in this town. I am certainly not alone in that category. The Juan Maclean(not from here) could only get 20 people out to there show. They were not very happy about that. Lots of good road shows skip this part of the country because of the bad reputation this city has for low turnouts.

With the exception of Green Day I was pretty much doing the same thing you were doing(i.e.Star Wars and anime). I'm a G 4 life(The G stands for geek).

30, 35 tops at Juan Maclean. My friend was telling me about it. the loft does not promote shows. sort of a bummer. usually they have big stuff so they dont feel they need too.
Why couldn't it've been rival gang getting trampled? Did they set me up?
The Juan Maclean show had a ridiculous turnout. Piss poor. Twas a shame, it was a decent show.
bummer doods. i totally wanted to go to the Juan Maclean show.
Damn - can't believe El Ten Eleven is playing - and that it's at the d-hole that is The Cavern.
Maybe I'll just stand outside and listen...
