Last minute show!!!!!!

the Good Sons will be doing a tribute to Scratch Acid(no nick Cave this time) at the Pastime Tavern. This show will be filmed for a Scratch Acid Documentary. The guys making the film are coming to Texas this week to interview Brett Bradford from Scratch Acid and Film our show. The Good Sons consist of aaron Gonzales(Yells at Eels) on bass, Will Kapinos(Jetscreamer) on Guitar, Ben Burt(Brutal Juice,The Falkon, Jack with One Eye) on Drums and Wanz Dover(The Frenz, The Falkon, War Wizards) on drunk ranting with Cowboy Boots.

I'm not sure who the openers will be yet, but if anyone wants to hop on this show contact Wanz.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think Teenage Cool Kids are going to be opening the show at Fra House this Saturday.

Haha. From the Observer Blog:

"We hear ya, kids, and next year, the only three bands allowed to be nominated for Dallas Observer Music Awards are Faux Fox, Record Hop and Nouns Group. (Speaking of the latter, "All My Daughters Are Named After Wars" is both the second-best song title in the world and the third-best local song of the last 21 months). We so totally get it."

This is the ONLY response from the Observer over all of the controversy of the last couple of weeks. Deaf and dumb. Point missed completely. Dinosaur now a fossil. The public gave more input over the last weeks than they have recieved in a long time, and all they can do is get snarky. Proof. All that is needed.

The whole thing is just so irrelevant to me that it really doesn't even make me angry anymore. It's mostly dumb bands doing mostly dumb shit... pretty much any night of the week on Greenville if you ask me.

Is anyone actually going to the Awards on Tuesday? I say & plan to boycott them, even with the free booze.

As for the Zanzibar Snails, no sax this time, Mike Forbes is playing on the streets of Chicago. We will have strings however ... members of Fra Pandolf and the Early Lines will be participating in the adventure.

We are hoping to have our new 3-inch EP, KRAKKATOWIAKK, available. We think it's pretty good. Or we wouldn't be bothering you with it at all.

Good job finding this video. It's impossible to search for "little wings" or "kyle field" on youtube without getting tons of embarrasing cover versions of "little wing" or Aggie football fanaticism.

tell me about it... it took me quite a while to locate this one.

A lot of 13 year old metal heads seem to think that people want to watch them play Little Wings on their Korean Fenders in their bedrooms.

A lot of people do, but I'd much rather see a budding Steve Vai.
