Angry Businessmen /Static Radio (1919 Hemphill): Angry Businessmen will have copies of their NPNR self-titled cassette at this show, which features 16 songs in 20 minutes. I'm sure the tape will consist of their brand of bass and drums-only surf rock mixed in with liberal doses of blast beats and shouting. Unlike anything else in the 'Plex right now. You should pick one up and support the unique NPNR project. Static Radio is from New Jersey and I'm always scared away by the words "melodic" and "hardcore" when they are side by side. The dichotomy of the yelling over the happy sounding major chords really throws me off.
