Just a theory about the use of the word indie in this case. Perhaps it's there to let the cool kids know that it will feature music by respected and/or lesser-known artists as opposed to mainstream tripe such as C&C Music factory???

3:02 PM
Anonymous Anonymous said...

uh, C&C Music Factory rules.

3:19 PM
Anonymous Anonymous said...

It was a better day when C&C was mainstreem.

My keyboard I'm typing on is totally indie by the way.

man, denton is so cutting edge...........................

7:15 PM

Indie: Why?

1. It's independent and DIY.
2. To give an idea of what kind of music to expect.

Like someone said-- we want people to know this isn't Live Nation, or College Night at Purgatory.. pretty simple really.

Denton on Denton?

You're fucking kidding right?

What a bunch of pompous bullshit.

Come listen to some future failed bands playing songs of failed bands from the past.

Sorry but quite possibly one of the most horrible ideas ever.

"sounds like everyones bored in denton."

That seems to have been part of the secret-formula of kick-ass Denton bands. I fear those days will slowly fade away as Little D becomes more metropolitan. I mean shit they gots a "insert corporate franchise here" now!!

I've tried not to, but my mom is really into it. Also I heard it on NPR's "The World". They really thought you were a young French dildo salesman. Fooled them!

Denton = Plano

Get over yourselves covering yourselves. Retarded.

"Friends are currency for some."

Denton cashing in on itself at the expense of itself. I thought Denton was incestous before, but now they are cannibalizing each other.

Real classy.

It's fun looking at Denton from a 3rd person perspective. There is a world outside of Denton. It's too bad most of the people up there forgot about it.
