Hell, some tin foil hat types have been saying that's what's behind the recent closings of several music venues in Dallas, and the city council's attempt to shut down more with SUP denials.

I've known about the Bush's moving to D-town for a while, and about Highland Park College--oops, SMU--landing the Bush Library, but not anything about club closings being related to the Bush's move. Where'd you hear that?

2:51 - the same place you hear most conspiracy theory horse shit: various places on the internet, from various heads-up-their-asses douche nozzles. Like I said, tin foil hat types. I would be inclined to believe the club closings have much more to do with bad business practices, low bar sales, rough economy, and the city council shutting down the ones who tend to attract unruly crowds.
Side note - looks like they're talking about the Preston Hollow neighborhood now, not Highland Park.
